Description:

My colleagues and I are running a Research Experiences and Mentoring (REM) program in the summer this year. This is a 10-weeks long hands-on research program that also provides the undergraduate students with professional development training throughout the academic year (May 2024 - May 2025).

This NSF REM program has been posted as an open competition on the NSF ETAP website. Here is the link. We are reviewing applicants on a rolling basis.

Please share with anyone who might be interested in applying or may be able to relay the message to undergraduate students without any hands-on lab experience. We welcome applications from students who have the following backgrounds: LGBTQIA+, minority, women, economically disadvantaged, veterans, K-12 teachers, and disabled individuals. Our research participant or mentees receive a stipend, housing and meal plan at the U-M campus.

Thank you for your time and consideration!
